Story

Team PMTI will be tacking the 4th Ford Dunton Charity Fitness Event in aid of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).

Following his tour in Afghanistan, Dunton Comm’s Ian Brazier has promised that this will be a true reflection of what troops experience when training for an Operational Tour. The team awaits with baited breath to learn details of the punishing physical challenges…let’s hope they don’t have to eat sand!

Spectators are welcome and should meet at the back of Car Park F on the grassed area (adjacent to the pond) at 13:10. Camera policy may be relaxed for the afternoon but we wouldn’t want anyone to take pictures….

UPDATE: we have heard on the grapevine that video evidence will be available depicting our demise!

Team PMTI (formerly known as Dave’s Boys) are a merry band of men from the Process, Methods, Tools & Information Team. Meet Team PMTI:

·           Andy Watson - bring on the mud!  Any excuse to get dirty whilst raising money and awareness for JDRF.

·           Jim Fullana - Professional Monster Munch eater, hoping to work off years of culinary punishment in one afternoon….I’m expecting wonders from my team!!

·           Nathan Roulson - regular runner and gym enthusiast: “I’m a bit worried about giving James a fireman’s lift, it’s not that I’m averse to intimacy, just that he weighs twice as much as me!”

·           James Russell – “I've been lured out of retirement with the promise that I can to wear my mankini! Dedicated Guinness drinker & eater of Business Process 'chocolates' - two passions that I'm sure will stand me in good stead for the event. Nathan, I know a good osteopath for your future back problems!”
