Story
ATFC is a new charity in the community set up to help some of the neediest children. We are all walking/running at the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run for it to help raise some much needed funds. ATFC is currently providing therapy to 51 children per week across the Greater London area.
The breakdown of runners and riders is:
Dan Polak - 10k run. He's backed himself to do it in under 30 minutes.
Stuart Polak - 5k colour run. He won't be able to see after his glasses get covered in paint, but will either a) beat his son in law or b) have a great variety of excuses about why he didn't, despite being a 2 time London Marathon finisher.
Jonny Ainley - 5k colour run. Making his competitive running debut at the tender age of 31, just looking to get a semi-respectable time on the board.
Simon Ainley - 5k colour run. Similar issues regarding glasses as Stu, but with the added complications of running with metal in his leg after the notorious breakage of 2016. Let's just hope no skipping is involved this time.
Tash Ainley - 1k walk. Said she would have smashed us all in the runs, but 'is pregnant so can't do it'...or something like that.
Charlotte, Gila and Sienna Polak, Karen and Carla Ainley - cheerleading squad.
We greatly appreciate all your support and donations of all shapes and sizes. We really believe that ATFC is doing hugely important work in our community (16 Jewish Primary Schools and hopefully more soon), helping a wide range of vulnerable children with issues including ADHD, ASD (autism spectrum disorder), emotional, physical or sexual abuse, mental health, parental disorder and looked after children (LAF).
