Story
Who are we are?
The PREPARE for Surgery programme is an innovative, award winning, patient-centred programme that supports patients with cancers of the oesophagus and stomach.
PREPARE aims to improve surgical outcomes by putting patients in the best possible position for their surgery and recovery. The programme offers a holistic approach involving surgeons, nurse specialists, dietitians, clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, and exercise specialists.
We provide guidance and support for cancer patients, with the goal of maintaining and improving their physical and psychological wellness prior to surgery and helping them recover after surgery.
