As a family, we are doing a 15 mile walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society in the name of our Bapou Michael, who has had Alzheimer's for the past 12 years. We have seen how he has deteriorated, and all the care & support that goes towards helping people with his condition. It would be great to raise money to go towards research with hope that Alzheimer's can be cured or prevented.

Until they find a cure, Alzheimer’s Society will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
