We are running the Liverpool half marathon in March to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK; a charity close to all of our hearts. More than 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and this year our best friend, "Tall" Tom was diagnosed with sarcoma; a very rare form. 

Toms positivity and sheer determination has humbled us all. He has remained the joker of the group, even from his hospital bed and became the first boy ever to have a higher pulling rate in hospital than in the club, when he proceded to get his nurses mobile number. 

It is this fighting attitude that has inspired us to try and make a bit of a difference. We aren't the most physically fit bunch, but in 3 months time we will hit the streets of Liverpool and take on the 13 mile course. Every penny we raise will help to find a cure for this devistating disease.
