Early night tonight.. In prep for wild party pre marathon night Friday night and of course the main event Saturday night.. My outfit is still in the design stages butMr Timms will not be happy when he sees I have sewn fake nipples on to my walking bra to be covered over by my wonderbra ( will make it easier to "get them out for the lads" on the walk past the pubs on Saturday night!

I am walking the 26.2miles around london in the dark.. in my bra.. to raise funds for the fabulous people who work tirelessly to tackle breast cancer and to support the families affected by it.

  • - There are 50,000 cases of breast cancer diagnosed each year in the UK. That’s one person every 10 minutes.
  • - Breast cancer is the second biggest cause of death from cancer in women in the UK.
  • - In women under the age of 35, breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer
  • Cancer touches everybody in some way, everyone has their own story. I am walking especially for women my age who are fighting the good fight against the disease and have young families of their own to support.

Those of you who know me well will know that my longest walk is usually from sofa to biscuit tin so to complete the marathon i have been working hard at lengthening my strides and picking up the pace. Im looking forward to the challenge... but not the aching legs! and am hoping my knee and foot injuries stay quiet while i pound the pavements.

Join me in celebrating the lives that have been saved through funding and research whilst also remembering the brave loved ones we have lost along the way.

Please dig deep and donate to a fabulous cause
