Story
In times of distress, we want to do something for our loved ones, for ourselves and the maybe the planet too. We cannot be at the side of our family and friends when they die of this horrible illness, so to plant a tree in their memory is something meaningful to do for them and the planet.
Planting remembrance trees will ensure the lasting memory of loved ones and also help to raise awareness about deforestation.
My aim is to cycle 500 miles+ over the summer, pacing myself a little as I'm still suffering the consequences of a Stroke and Lupus.
I'm doing this because I love nature and want to help preserve the planet for future generations.
We’ve created ‘Team Toucan’ that will run, cycle or walk to raise funds and awareness for this great cause adding miles using the Strava application.
Thank you for your contributions to support the World Land Trust in their Plant a Tree Project. For every £5 raised a memory tree is planted.
