Story

.

We have all recently found ourselves in very strange times and we know so many of us have been trying to support our wonderful NHS in the very best we way can.

We have decided to try to raise some funds for St Luke's hospice which is a cause so personally close to our hearts. Courtney’s mum, Lisa, Antoinette’s sister, was cared for by St Luke's and we are so grateful for their unwavering compassions and kindness during the last few days of Lisa’s life.

Because of the current crisis, St Luke’s are losing out on all the fundraising they rely upon so heavily, including events like the London and Brighton marathons, and they receive no other government funding. Kelly received an email from them explaining how desperate they are for funds and in fact, they are in danger of losing up to £230,000 over the next few months.

So…we are going to accept the challenge of walking 10 miles on 12th May! We know how many people’s livelihoods have been affected recently and so would be genuinely grateful for any donation whatsoever, whatever you can afford - large or small. It would mean so much to us be able to make just a small difference to this fantastic place which is struggling to support patients and their families at the very worst time of their lives.

Thank you from Kelly, Courtney and Antoinette.& Maryann

Love and stay safe x
