Story
Isabelle, aged 10, and Siena, aged 4, are 2 of 4 sisters who both suffer from an undiagnosed condition meaning they endure relentless seizures on a daily basis. The siezures have left them both severely disabled.
Siena, who has spent the first 6 months of 2016 in hospital due to her complex medical needs, is unable to sit up unaided and is tube fed. Isabelle is learning to walk but cannot communicate. With consistent therapy input both girls can make progress and improve their quality of life, but with the incessant threat of severe epilepsy we are aware their lives are in danger everyday, as it continues to be uncontrolled.
We are raising money with the aim of getting the girls to America to receive treatment that has the potential to rid them of seizures altogether.
As well as our aim to get the girls to the clinic, they both need constant therapy, to challenge their Global Developmental Delay and help them achieve their maximum potential. This therapy will include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy equipment.
