‘Jump Space’ is based on our doorstep in Stockport. The charity has a dedicated team providing meaningful opportunities for disabled people to take part in sport and physical activities. Furthermore they create a safe and social place for families and kids to enjoy sport together. Any money we raise for ‘Jump Space’ will go towards purchasing more specialised equipment and staff costs. Please find attached more info on Jump Space.
To start supporting this wonderful charity several of us have decided to cycle from ‘John O’Groats to Lands End' next month. Starting on the 12th June and finishing on the 20th June, that’s 1000 miles in 9 days!!!!!!!! As part of an organised event, led by Olympic champion James Cracknel, we will be a team of 6 amongst 600+ riders making our way down the country raising money for several charities. We are aiming to raise at least £6000.
Some would say we are mad to do this and based on how painful the training is, they’d be right! If it’s not your legs that are hurting, it’s your back that’s burning! If it’s not your back burning, it’s your ass! For us it’s the ultimate endurance challenge and it will ask everything from us both as individuals and as a team to complete it! I am sure you will all agree that it is a fantastic charity to support, made even more special by the fact that it’s a local charity.
Every penny helps take away the pain of doing this brutal challenge!!
