To raise money for some amazing charities and have an adventure of a lifetime along the way.

Leaving the Baby seats, power steering and the comfort of a good old mug of earl grey at home, We are rushing out of Blighty with around another 250 teams on July 14th 2018. all heading east for up to 6 weeks!
but wait.. it gets harder!
Forget 4x4's across the Mongolian desert! or 3l engine's across the German Autobahn.
we are taking a car no more than 1.2l

We are raising money for Special Effect and Cool Earth.

SpecialEffect have always played a huge part in my life and this will be my 3rd time raising money for them! they create and adapt video game controllers and computers to those with disabilities allowing them to play along and enjoy games just as everyone else!   They enable severely disabled people to use computers with whichever parts
 of their body that work best, enabling vital inclusion. Many want to
play video games. They specialise in Eye Control Technology for those
paralysed & unable to speak.Through eye-movement alone, we enable

This is the reason we are called Team AFK - (Away from Keyboard) as we both enjoy our games on the Xbox and PC (I couldn't tell you all how many hours/days we have put into Euro Truck Simulator) ... And when you stop playing and head out for a while, you tell your friends by putting AFK - Away from keyboard.
