Brighton to Paris bike challenge · 20 June 2014

Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation is the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion. We help people to get active, learn new skills, and live well throughout Sussex. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or ability, can benefit from the transformative power of football.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In June 2014 a team of staff from Brighton & Hove Albion FC and Albion in the Community will be cycling from Brighton to Paris to raise much needed funds for AITC. (Michael Edwards - CEO AITC, Paul Barber - CEO BHAFC, Gary Townsend - COO AITC, David Jones - Finance Director BHAFC, Russell Wood - Financial Controller BHAFC, Millie Lanz - Fundraising & Events Manager AITC, Olivia Charlick - Human Resources Assistant, Rose Read - Head of HR BHAFC, Sue Parris - Education & life skills Manager BHAFC, Emma Millington - Physical Activity Co-Ordinator AITC, Lucy Symonds - Tutor AITC).

Albion in the Community (charity number 1110978) utilises the power of sport and the reach of BHAFC to make a difference to people’s lives across Sussex. The Disability department of AITC provides regular sporting opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, including impairment specific community clubs and they also offer high quality provision for young disabled people during curriculum time and after schools clubs. In 2012 we had over 700 participants in disabled sport and one participant has gone on to become an England International in power-chair football.

Albion in the Community is appealing to fans for their support to help make our first fundraising event a great success. No matter how big or small, all donations will be greatly appreciated.
