Story

My friend has a 10 month old baby who was born with liver disease. He had major surgery at only a few weeks old is now on the liver transplant waiting list. Liver Disease is more common than childhood lukemia, has no cure and means a lifetime of care.

By making a unique donation (ie ending in pence) we could be in with a chance of winning £1000 for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation.

We are on a mission to make Jim into a hairy fairy and in the process raise money for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation.

We are taking part in the Great North Run. Catherine is running the 13.1 miles on Sunday 19th September. The day before Holly, aged 11, is running the Junior Great North Run (3 miles) and Bethany, aged 8, along with her dad (hopefully dressed as a hairy fairy) are doing the mini great north run.

Jim agreed to wear a tutu if we raised £300 which we have done so he will be wearing a tutu. He has promised to wear fairy wings with the tutu if we raise £1000. We are all desperate to see Jim become a hairy fairy so please sponsor us.

Justgiving are running a competition to win £1000 for our charity. The winner is the person who receives the highest number of unique bids between 11th September and the 17th. It is not the highest amount of donations but the highest unique bids so make your donation end is pence rather than 00 and it could make all the difference.
