Leila and Zara’s mum, Ingrid, sadly passed away on March 3rd 2019 just 2 years after being diagnosed with bowel cancer. Leila, Zara, Stuart, Lewis and Anna are running in her memory and hope to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK. 

Leila and Stuart ran the Great North Run in 2019 and raised over £3,500 for Bowel Cancer UK. A knee injury in the race didn’t put Leila off running. She is running the London Marathon 3 weeks after the Great North Run on 3rd October 2021.
