Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford provides expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families.

Story

126 Miles. 2 Days. 6 Lads from Bradford. Raising money for TWO brilliant charities. Marie Curie Bradford and Ummah Welfare Trust. We are going to set off from Liverpool on the 28th August 2020. Our aim is to do 63 miles on the Friday to get to the Half-way point in Accrington. After a nap and some hard earned rest we will cycle the second leg from Accrington to Leeds City Centre. Every single of the 126 Gruelling miles will be made a million times easier with each and every pound donated by YOU our sponsors! Please dig deep and lend your support two fantastic charities.

It would be highly appreciated if any funds raised could be split between the two charities. Eg, If donating £10, please split £5 to Marie Curie and £5 to Ummah Welfare Trust. Thank You!

-Team Wolfpack Bradford-

The Bradford Hospice is a warm and welcoming place where we get to know people as individuals and help them do what is important to them. Our dedicated team is here to provide expert care, every day of the year, for local people who are living with a terminal illness, and their families. The hospice team is supported by a team of around 100 volunteers, all of whom play a vital role in the running of the hospice. We have a 16-bed in-patient unit, where relatives and friends can visit any time of the day or night, and stay with their loved ones if they wish. Our day therapy unit offers outpatient clinics and a wide range of activities and therapies, including exercise sessions, complementary therapy, gardening, music, crafts, quizzes and art therapy led by a local artist. We need to raise £5,562 per day to run the hospice, so every penny counts. Thank you for helping to make sure more people living with a terminal illness in Bradford get the care and support they need.
