Team Bradford Run for William · 24 February 2021

The MPS Society provides specialist support to children, adults and families in the UK who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal storage diseases and we fund research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions with no cure.

Story

We are Team Bradford, made up of students, staff an alumni from the University of Bradford and are doing a charity run to support William, a young child with Sanfillipo Syndrome, a life shortening illness.

William’s parents are graduates of Bradford University and once in Team Bradford, you’re always in Team Bradford and will not be forgotten.

We want to raise money and awareness of Mucopolysaccharide diseases while promoting fitness and wellbeing.

Runs will be independent during lockdown and will be logged over Strava leading to the main event on MPS day on May 15 where the team will take on their own personal challenge, be that 5K, 10K, half marathon or more.
