Mum had always been extremely strong, independent, funny and fiercely loyal all her life and having MND didn't change this.  It still amazes us how she found the strength to many positives during the time she lived with MND  As her family and friends we all learnt so much awareness for the challenges this illness gives and how quickly the stages can move on to the next, especially when it took away her speech. We saw first hand how much the charity MNDA (especially the Mid Kent Branch) helped Mum directly and they were absolutely incredible. So we are thanking them in honour of Mum and raising as much funds as possible for the Mid Kent Branch to help others living with this disease.
