Over the years Dan has inspired me to face my fears, push myself to the limits and do something extraordinary. We have completed many challenges and charity events, individually and as a couple. This seemed like the ultimate challenge and although I am petrified, I am keen to take on the challenge to honour my Dad.

Unfortunately my Dad lost his battle with MS 17 years ago. I would have loved him to meet the wonderful man I married and our fantastic kids. He would have been so proud of the strong woman I have become. Although I am petrified of stepping over the edge (not to mention running to the top) and taking on the UKs highest abseil I am taking on this challenge to honour him and help raise funds for the charity that supported him so much through his short and violent battle with this disabling disease.
