CAP Run 2019
Campaign by King's Community Church (RCN 1119560)
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a debt counselling charity committed to freeing people from the miserable grip of poverty across the UK. We run to see people set free from debt.

Story

Let me first tell you why your awesome friends are running.  Yep, some just love running, however, they are part of a bigger story. CAP is a phenomenal charity that recognise the power of money, or lack of it. It's toll on dignity and worth, self esteem and suicidal thoughts.  CAP seeks to restore value to people, to lift their heads up and help them to take control of their finance.  CAP come along side people who are struggling to manage their finance and hold their hands, draw up a budget and get them back on track to stay in control of managing their money. Without judgement. With friendship.

At KCC we run a fab CAP centre.  We are running to raise funds to support the work of CAP in our Hedge End community and as a national charity. So your fab Teams are:

TEAM KINGS SCHOOL: Marie Easton, Dawn and Dan Vardy, Helen Trevitt, Margret Walker, Dasha Murdock, Karen Parker,

TEAM KINGS COMMUNITY CHURCH: Maggie Shergill, Steve and Becki Froud, Wayne Parsons, Katie Nethersole, Tom Treacher, Josh Robins, Alison Dolphin, Angus Brown

TEAM HEDGE END RUNNING CLUB: Vanessa Brabazon, Robert Ainslie, Carol Sergant, Cheryl James, Terry Orr, Jim Dunlop

TEAM FAMILY AND FRIENDS:  Alex and Beth Simmons, Kati Kemp, Sarah Shepard, Sheena Elvin, and me Louise Larkum

Running together as one team for CAP with others from Romsey Freedom Church.

Thank you so much for reading and supporting us you precious people.  Leave us a note of support with your donation, its so great to have your support.  Thanks.
