Story

Pete, Mike and Barrie from the Cherished Vehicle Insurance team will be no longer driving "Big Red", Pete's 1973 Triumph 2000 estate company car around the Round Britain Reliability Run from 1st - 3rd October 2021.  We are doing it in a 1500 1978 Dolomite, which we proudly borrowing from one of our friends! This will by no mean feat as I am the smallest and the biggest is 6ft 3”. Smelly no stops but for petrol… we at team cherished will do it for your money. We would love you to support us as we are not your average insurance company…. A-plan which we are part of is putting up £2500. Please help us to get too £10000. Lost 100hp hope to gain £10k more!

Three men, a 43 year old car (my age so u know it’s had t!) taking on this 48 hr, 2000+ miles challenge! EASY!!?!?!?!?!?!

The event this year will be raising awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. Please help support this cause.

Here's some more info:

The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run was first devised and run in 1966 and since then has been run 26 times. The event consists of driving around the UK using an old Triumph motor car and visiting pre-arranged Controls from Knebworth to John O'Groats to Lands End and back to Knebworth in 2 days. The 2021 RBRR will be run over the weekend of 1st to 3rd October 2021, at present time over 125 crews are
entered using the full range of Triumph motor cars, the oldest is hoped to be a pre-war model that will be 84 years old! Over 1000 crews have now successfully completed the event since the first one. Since the event started to support UK Charities over £700,000 has been successfully raised, last time we raised nearly £100K for Epilepsy Research UK. It’s shaping up to be another fantastic weekend of motoring adventure,
featuring great cars, great people, great roads and great scenery in a great Country! The event this year will be raising much needed funds for the
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, we hope to raise over £50,000. The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving care, research and campaigning for people living with and affected by MND. You can see our team fundraising target on the left. All
donations will really help to smash the above target. Remember:  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
