On October 14th 2018, we'll be taking on the Royal Parks 13 mile, 192 and a half yard challenge in aid of London's Air Ambulance, a charity we personally owe an awful lot.

On the 21st October 2017, Charles was hit by a car in Highbury, London. After rolling over the top of the car and hitting the road, his airways were blocked and he had suffered a number of serious injuries.

London's Air Ambulance were incredible in their response to pick Charles up, stabilise his condition and escort him to the Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel. They provide this rapid response, life-saving treatment to thousands of critically injured people across London.

Two days after the incident, whilst Charles was still in intensive care, two of the terrific team who treated him that evening were kind enough to come and check on his recovery. We were still in quite a bit of shock and Charles wasn't able to thank them properly for all they did for him (and us, as his family). As a group we hope that, in raising a bit of money for this outstanding charity, we can say a small thank you.
