Oxford Food Hub (formerly Oxford Food Bank) collects surplus fresh food and redistributes it to over 100 other charities who feed the local community, reducing waste and supporting people across Oxfordshire. Help us to make a difference today.

Story

Three of Oxford Food Bank’s  long-serving volunteers are taking part in a
sponsored cycle event to raise funds for the OFB. Geoff Rose, Brian Johns and
John Exley, who have 25 years of OFB volunteering between them,
normally do the Thursday 9am shift , delivering to ten charities and collecting from two supermarkets in and around East Oxford.

They are competing in Bike Oxford , on Sunday May 19th, along with 1,000 other cyclists. Bearing in mind that they have collectively racked up 206 years of age, they are doing  the 25 mile route (rather than 50 or 80 miles!) from Oxford and around the Otmoor villages.

Although they have entered as Team Delusional, they are determined to finish the course………. and donations through the OFB Just Giving link will be greatly appreciated!
