We are Team Eagles and we are running the 2013 Great North Run! We are a mix of dedicated runners, basketball players and confused individuals who have no idea how they got roped into this. We all have the same goal, to complete the GNR and to raise as much money as we can for the Newcastle Eagles Community Foundation! 

The Eagles Community Foundation not only provides opportunities for children and young people to play basketball but also runs the super successful Hoops4Health scheme in primary schools throughout the North East. Alongside this the foundation runs business enterprise projects for teenagers and new skills courses for the long term unemployed. 

The Newcastle Eagles Community Foundation do great work and we are hoping to help them continue to expand their efforts!
