Story

The team at EWR Co recognises the important work Railway Children undertakes and the difference it makes for hundreds of vulnerable children, both here in the UK and abroad. We're pulling together as one, and joining forces with our friends across the rail industry, to raise vital funds so Railway Children can continue to make a difference. Please donate your daily commute - or more! - and together, let's reach our fundraising target.

Rail Aid says...At this time of year, the rail industry is normally looking forward to one of the highlights of our social calendar, The Railway Ball. It's an evening of glitz and glamour with a heart of gold as rail professionals and industry leaders unite in support of the sector's favourite charity, Railway Children. It is an annual opportunity to not only come together from across the sector, but also to join forces in raising a substantial amount of money for our industry's favourite charity, Railway Children.

This year, with the world still reeling from the impact of COVID-19, the very difficult decision to cancel the Railway Ball has been made. This is disappointing for those who enjoy the event, but potentially devastating for the children whose lives are transformed by the money it raises. The loss of these life-changing funds will leave a gaping hole in Railway Childrens' income, potentially leaving some of the most marginalised children on the planet facing even more terrifying futures.
