Story
Plymouth to Banjul Challenge 2007
3700 miles across Europe and Africa, 400 of which are off-road through the Sahara desert, all in a car worth less than £100...
Adam and Don are taking part in the annual Plymouth to Banjul Challenge, which consists of driving a £100 banger some 3700 miles from Plymouth in the UK, to Banjul in Gambia.
We're aiming to raise £3000 for The Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that helps teenagers suffering from cancer. The TCT aims to raise awareness of cancer in teenagers, the symptoms of which often go unnoticed as they are dismissed as growing pains or sporting injuries.
Please visit our website http://www.teamflapjack.co.uk/ to see how we are getting on with the fundraising, preparations of the car, and the challenge itself.
Many thanks for your support - it is appreciated.
