We are a team of children who are all taking part in the junior total warrior to raise money for The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. 

We are hoping the money we raise helps to support families at Leeds General Infirmary whose children are having open heart surgery. 

We have been inspired by Freddie McDonald, a local 5 year old boy who has undergone two open heart surgeries in his short life. 

The most recent one saw him 16 hours in surgery and left him fighting for his life. 

He also had a liver transplant at the age of 3.

His family have been fundraising for a variety of charities since he was born and this year their efforts will hopefully take them to over £100,000.
