At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We are going to walk a 26 mile stretch of Hadrian's Wall in August in an attempt to raise some much needed funds for the wonderful people at the Altzhiemers Society.

Last year we climbed Snowdon at night. We found it to be a very challenging but rewarding event and thanks to the generosity of the many good folk the event raised in excess of £200,000. Our personal goal was met and so this year we have set the bar a little higher.

This years event will see us walking a 26 mile route along the mighty Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. The route takes us up hill and down dale for about 12 hours. The challenge this year is one of stamina and endurance, so we will be training hard in the build up to the event.
