Message from Alicia:

WIN a Tokyo 2020 Team GB top, framed and signed by every single member of Great Britain’s most successful Olympic swimming team in history!

To raise money for The Max Windle Memorial Trust (registered charity number 1194885), I am raffling off one of my tops from the Tokyo Olympic Games, which has been signed by all of my Team GB swimming teammates, including Adam Peaty, Tom Dean, James Guy and Duncan Scott.

Each raffle entry is just £2, and you can enter as many times as you wish. For example, donating £20 will mean your name will be entered 10 times into this raffle! This raffle is worldwide, and you do not need to be in the UK to participate. Accepted entries will close at midnight (British Standard Time) on October 16, and the winner will be drawn live via Instagram the following day.

The MWMT has a very special place in my heart. Max was brought up around the pool, and from the age of just 9 years old, he started competing and very quickly became an incredible swimmer. Max still holds multiple age group records at Guildford City Swimming Club and was Junior Club Captain. Like mine, it was always Max’s dream to compete at a high level on the sporting stage. He switched sports to football at the age of 14 and played for Fulham FC and Crawley FC under 18 teams. His dream was to play professional football but after suffering from poor mental health over recent years, Max sadly passed away earlier this year.

I wish with everything that I could have watched Max fulfill this dream. Even more now, having had my own mental health struggles during the pandemic, I am determined to help The MWMT and raise awareness for those who are struggling with their mental health battles.

By entering this raffle, all of your proceeds will go straight to The MWMT, which raises money for local and national charities focusing on child and young adult mental health. This money will hopefully save someone else’s life, so please enter it if you can.

Message from the Windle Family:

Max was brought up around the pool. From the age of 4, he joined his sisters Ella and Kate on the swim-run at Atlantis SC in Horsham, watching the morning and after-school training sessions and competitions. From the age of 9, he started competing and very quickly became a great swimmer, especially in breaststroke. He still holds age group records at Guildford City Swim Club.

Max admired all swimmers for their dedication and commitment. He always knew Alicia would make the Olympics but sadly due to suffering from poor mental health over recent years, he was not here to watch the 2020 Olympics and see the British swimmers excel. Max sadly passed away in January aged just 16 years old.

We are very grateful to Alicia and the rest of the GB Olympic swim team for their support of the charity we have set up in memory of Max. Every penny donated will be used to support other children and young adults who are struggling with their own mental health. No one should have to suffer as Max did.

Max was an extremely talented young swimmer, and overall sportsman, who sadly passed away earlier this year. His family has set up a trust in his memory to raise money for local and national charities focussing on child and young adult mental health. This money will hopefully help save someone’s life so please enter this raffle.
