My name is Dan Gurney i am a personal trainer in sutton surrey. I had decided to run the london marathon for a cause that is very close to my heart. The royal marsden cancer  charity.

I lost my father over 4 years ago to a form of kidney cancer. My Dad was a great inspiration in my life and was not only my Dad but my best friend. We did everything together. His death left a massive whole in my heart aswel as my family.  So now i have decided to do something to play my part in beating cancer, and to run in honour of my dad and all the other people out there who are battling cancer and for those who have lost loved ones.
