Thanks to all have donated so far and making excellent progress to the target - there is extra cash available for the team that raises the most for charity - please help Team Half Pint get to the top of the pile
The Eddystone Charity Pursuit is a 26 mile yacht race from the historic and world famous Royal Western Yacht Club, Plymouth to the Hands Deep buoy near the Eddystone Lighthouse in the English Channel and back.
Mike Postle-Hacon, skipper of yacht Half Pint, a Dufour 325, ably assisted by his crew, wife Carol, son Mark, daughter-in-law Victoria and Carol's former colleague George will race in aid of St Lukes Hospice.
Carol retired from her role at St Lukes in April of this year and is determined to assist her former colleagues left at the 'coal face' by raising funds for this most excellent charity.
There is no doubt that the work of St Lukes, both through their hospice and their teams of palliative care nurses in the community has touched upon most families and communities in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. St Lukes relies on charitable donations to enable them to carry out their wonderful work, so we implore to you give what you can, as Mike, Carol, Mark, Victoria and George battle through wind and tide across the waves in aid of St Lukes.
Thank you
Team Half Pint
