After planning to have a team running the half marathon to fundraise for the school in 2020, we finally have an in person race to run after COVID. Our team includes runners with varied running experience, but all looking forward to the event to raise money for the children at our school.

We have Mr Disley, the Head Teacher, who has run a half before. 

Myself, Gemma Oliver, the PTA Chair, who has run several half marathons before, including Colchester. I have children in years 4 and 6. 

Melanie Bull, who has not run a half before, and has a child in year 3. 

Kerrie Lear, another first time half-marathoner with a child in year 3.

Calum Endean, who has not run an official half marathon race, but has exceeded the distance several times, having recently run his first marathon in Manchester, after taking up running in October. He has a child in year 4. 

Ari Velusamy, who has previously run 3 half marathons, and has a child in Reception year. 

Sathya Periasamy, another first time half marathon runner, and has children in years 1 and 5.

As a charity we continue to raise money for the school, for spending on projects to benefit all the children.  We are currently saving to help the school replace the climbing frame, that is coming to the end of its usable lifespan.
