On the 9th of June, 14 intrepid Hill colleagues will be tackling the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours.
The team will be walking 23 miles, with an total ascent of over 3000 metres. They will also be traveling 462 miles between the peaks - starting at Ben Nevis, progressing on to Scafell Pike and then finishing at Snowdon. As the Three Peaks Challenge will take place over a 24 hour period, the team will not only need to conquer the three mountains - they will also face sleep deprivation and fatigue.
The team will be taking on this challenge with the aim to raise money for the charity Shelter.
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness, and campaigns to prevent it in the first place. Shelter tackles the root causes of the housing crisis by challenging the people in power to make their vision of a home for everyone a reality.
