Shooting Star Children's Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count.

Story

After running 10k in November our good friend Neil Burman decided it would be a great idea to immediately sign up to another 10K and so we selected one we know well - The BUPA 10K.  A collective of some of the finest athletes from both sexes has been assembled to create Team Shooting Star Chase (original i know!).

The the team is littered with talent, primarily from Ben Jackson who recently ran across the Sahara desert, Jordan Levy who is the fastest man on 4 wheels, Darryl Pawsey who has just figured out how far 10K is and Tony Higginson who has upgraded to 3 packs of McCoys and Sugar free Red Bull.

We are all running for a truly great charity and should we have the fastest overall team time compared to our 2 other teams then ITE will kindly double all money raised by ourselves.  We really appreciate all the support given and every penny will go towards making a big difference to the lives of the children we are trying to help.

Also, should Tony finish behind Jordan then he shall be wearing a dress all day on the Tuesday.  Just thought everyone should know this.  Pictures of Tony will be made available to all donators.  Thank you!
