Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Jack Chester (our Son, Nephew & Cousin) passed away in September 2010 following a long illness. He had been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a bone cancer, in February 2008 at the age of 17. Jack never gave up hope that he would recover from this illness. He had most of his treatment at UCLH on the special ward supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust. This ward treats teenagers with cancer in an environment designed specifically for young people, where they are not defined by their illness.
Jack spoke about living with cancer at many fundraising functions on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust. His school 'The Campion School' have arranged for the third time a 21 mile sponsored walk in his memory, with all monies going to TCT. This will take place on 4th May, walking from the school in Hornchurch to Little Venice in London. Other members of Jack's family, his friends and supporters will also be walking in his memory, and your support would be much appreciated.
