Story
On 6th September 2013 our much longed for and loved son Samuel was born sleeping.
4Louis provided us, via St Mary's Hospital, a memory box which contained items we could use to create special memories of our son that we can cherish forever. We have a hand and foot cast, candle, lock of Samuel's hair, beautiful photographs of him, a teddy that kept Samuel company before his journey ahead of us which his mummy and daddy now sleep with and many more precious items.
Not all hospital's provide these memory boxes and we want to ensure that St Mary's can continue to do so to help bereaved parents during a very difficult time.
To commemorate Samuel's 1st birthday, Keela will be taking part in the Rochdale Kingsway 5k Run on Sunday 21st September. Keela is also being joined by her fantastic family and friends, Kerry Walsh (sister), Tegan~10, Bree~8, Alannah and Ava~7 (nieces) Aedan~6 (nephew), Helen Adamson (sister-in-law), and Christine Pritchard (friend) hence 'Team Keela'.
Samuel's mummy is taking the race very seriously by hiring a personal trainer and joining the gym to get into shape! Keela will post weekly updates of her progress so that you can see how well (or not!) she is doing!
Many thanks for your valued support,
Keela & Stephen
An angel in the book of life
Took down our baby's birth
Then whispered as she closed the book
Too beautiful for earth
