Story
Hi everyone,
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon once again in support of King’s College Hospital Charity — a cause that means the world to me 💙.
Since the day Aarean was born, he has been under the care of the incredible Paediatric Neurosurgery team at King’s. In 2024, he underwent two spinal surgeries, and we spent a month in the hospital.
That time was one of the hardest periods of our lives. Our little Mister Smiler — usually so full of joy — was so unwell. He was in pain, uncomfortable, and unable to sit up to eat or drink for six long weeks. He had to lie flat on his tummy the whole time. Because of his surgery, we couldn’t hold or cuddle him for long, no matter how much we wanted to. As parents, it was our worst nightmare — watching our child struggle and not being able to take the pain away.
I will forever be grateful to his neurosurgery team and to King’s College Hospital. A part of me will always feel like I owe them my life for everything they’ve done for our boy.
Running these 13 miles is my small way of giving back to the hospital that has given so much to our little Mister Smiler 😊
I can’t wait to cross that finish line again and make Aarean and my family proud. Please help me make that moment even more special by supporting me and helping me reach my target.
Your donation will make a huge difference to the staff, patients, and families at King’s College Hospital.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reading, supporting, and cheering me on 🫶🏾
