My name is Breanna and I am Fluttering this year to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. Fluttering will be going on for the entire month of September, so please help me continue this chain and help raise awareness with me! Once we know better, we can do better! In March of 2021 my entire world was turned upside down and my heart was shattered when a doctor looked at me and said the most horrifying words I have ever heard: “your son has cancer”. Almost exactly a year later, just when we thought we had made it through to the other side, we found out the cancer had come back and that it was terminal. Unravel is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to bridge the gap in funding for pediatric cancer research. With the help of warrior families and their communities, Unravel raises awareness of the need for this research and the funds to support it. Unlike the typical grant funding model, Unravel gives unrestricted funds to innovative pediatric cancer researchers, which removes barriers and accelerates the development of more effective and less toxic treatments for children with cancer. We must do better for these children. Will you help?
