We have chosen the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK as it is very close to all of our hearts. As I’m sure many of you will know in 2009 Shaunie lost her dad to the illness.

We aim to raise as much as we can to help other people and families who have also been affected. We would like to aid current research into the treatment and diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer.

On the Saturday 2nd of August, 4/5ths of Lowther Street are taking part in Tough Mudder (the southerner is just too soft and attending and 80th birthday party).

This means;
Megan will be getting her clothes dirty.
More importantly Leigh will be getting her nails and hair dirty.
Shaunie will be proving to us all the benefits of doing a sports course.
And I (Pippa) of course will be sailing through what with having recently bought some new trainers for the gym!

We are doing this for an incredibly important cause and in honor of a wonderful man! Please give as much or as little as you can... Every penny really does count!

(If you need any more persuading, just imagine Leigh attempting to climb over a 10m high wall, with an ice bath on the other side, and the things she might say - for those of you who don't know Leigh this is a hilarious mental image)
