Nearly 5 years ago, our princess, Layanne made her dramatic appearance 16 weeks early.  We were not prepared for what was to come, but all we knew that is if she chose to live we would be next to her supporting her and fighting with her.  After 9 agonising months in hospital, too many operations to count, and numerous close calls, she made it home despite all the odds against her.

That sums up Layanne, our little fighter, super girl who always prooves the doctors wrong.  Even though physically she has her limitations, she continues to live a happy fulfilled life.  She is filled with sunshine, love, happiness, light and positive energy. 

She has taught us so much, especially appreciating our abilities that we take for granted each moment.  That is why, to celebrate Lulu's miraculous life, we have chosen to go way out of our comfort zone and take a leap for Lulu!

Pigs4kids is a wonderful charity that is part of her school.  Swiss Cottage school is filled with miracle workers who I can only describe as angels.  They have made such a difference to Lulu's life instilling confidence, big hopes and dreams and pushing her to achieve goals that we didn't think were possible.  The charity is aiming to raise over £1,000,000 to help give the chance to all the children to participate in after school clubs, and holiday camps.  Looking after special needs children is costly, as they need specially trained staff and equipment.  So please do give generously!
