As a team, the staff of Marie Curie North East hope to raise enough money to pay for a day of hospice care in 2021.

We have seen the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on fundraising and we wanted to do our bit
to help.

Marie Curie offers care to those with life limiting illnesses and those at the end of their lives and their families. In our work, we help people with life limiting conditions to manage their symptoms. For example, we help people with pain, nausea, fatigue find solutions to enable them to live the fullest life possible. We also care for people at the end of their lives. We help people to have dignity and comfort in their final days and weeks. 

We also provide support for our patient's families. Working for Marie Curie is an absolute privilege and honour.
