Did you know there are 26 cities in the United States named Hope? So each mile in this virtual race represents a new day, a new destination and a new reason to HOPE  -- for families like ours who are waiting for a cure for their child with AT. 

Since there are 50 states, our goal is to have at least 50 people join us on Team Max Smith. 

(Bonus points if we can get a shout out from ALL 50 STATES.)

Register for the race - do 1 mile, 10-miles, whatever suits you. (Do all 26.2 for the t-shirt and medal if that's your thing.)

Or get creative and make your own message of HOPE with rocks, flowers, chalk...the sky's the limit. 

Make a donation - The A-T Children's Project is dedicated to accelerating research to find a cure for ataxia telangiectasia, a rare, debilitating genetic disorder that causes loss of muscle control and balance, cancer, lung disease and immune system problems in children and young adults. 

This about more than miles or money, this is about raising awareness and sending hope to A-T families across the world! We need our ice bucket challenge moment!!
