Members of Medicine and Integrated Care Division #teamMIC took part in the London #winterrun 10K challenge on Sunday 4 February 2018.
It was a very cold day! Luckily the sun came out around 10.30am which warmed it up to about 3 degrees! The route was amazing, people singing, penquins and polar bears dancing to keep us entertained.

We are all now able to say we've achieved a 10K in the winter! You can see our results here: http://www.londonwinterrun.co.uk/london-winter-run/event-info/2018-results/ For several people above this was their first ever 10K. What's next?!
Our page is still open for donations. We are fundraising for Imperial Health Charity Small Grants Fund to help improve patient healthcare and staff experience at the five London hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The Small Grants fund has been used by #teamMIC to support projects such as the refurbishment of the patients day room on our elderly wards, funding breakfast club to support our patients back to independence and upgrading our environments to ensure dementia friendly colours.
