Newborns Vietnam

Saving babies from their first breath - advancing neonatal intensive care in Vietnam to help close the gap between developing and developed world standards of newborn care. Our work addresses the critical shortage of nurses, trained health workers and basic specialist lifesaving equipment.

Story

Why Newborns Vietnam

Newborns Vietnam has made huge progress in improving care in Danang and the charity is now working at the National Children's Hospital in Hanoi on a project that will have far wider impact. One headline result: from 2012 - 2016 DN hospital saw a 50% reduction in overall neonatal mortality

Isla Climbing Challenge 2018

In 2017 more than $13,000 was raised for Newborns Vietnam via this challenge which sees riders cycle up and down one hill for up to two hours. 

Th 2018 event took place on 16.6.2018 in Hanoi and Danang adding a further $8,500 bringing the running total to $21,500 over two years. 

Danang relay

In May Frederik, David and Graham completed the 70.3 relay in DN for the fourth year in the row with cash sponsorship coming from Indochina Capital and Classic Fine Foods with kit from Regna.
