On Friday 5 October 2018, Team North will be taking part in the UK’s biggest sleep-out, Byte Night, to raise money for Action for Children – Youth Homelessness. The event takes place at the The Baltic and from 6pm – 7am, friends, colleagues and business partners will experience what it is like to be homeless.

Around 83,000 homeless young people receive help from homelessness services each year. In total, it is estimated that in the last year around 1.3 million young people aged 16-24 have slept rough or in an unsafe place, and just under 300,000 are doing so on any one night. 67% of young people in homelessness accommodation are there because relatives or friends are no longer willing to accommodate them.
