Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A year ago Type 1 Diabetes came into our lives with a bang, we did not invite it or deserve it but there it was..it still is but we have got used to it, it still  tests our emotional and physical limits every day but we have accepted it. Every day for Ozzie is  a challenge, keeping his blood sugar in range by tesing his blood up to 6 times a day, weighing and calculating all his carbs and in his words 'just being different.'

So I thought I would empathise with him for 24 hours and set myself a physical and mental challenge. I am getting a team of friends together to raise money for Diabetes research. I am  planning to take part in The Barn Fitness, Cholsey's 24 hour gym classathon on Saturday 29th April starting at 12 noon and I would love you to join me  for some (or all!) of the classes. I have set a team target of 100 points in 24 hours ie: 1 person does a class = 1 point. So the more people who do a class, the more points we get. Just a bit of fun and  you can feel good afterwards.  The classes range from yoga to spin to step to body balance so regardless of fitness you can join in .
