We are a group of runners who have decided to tackle the challenge of the Woodley 10k on Sunday 13th May 2012. For some of us it will be a walk in the park, for others it will take all the determination and courage we can muster and for rest... well, somewhere in between! For all of us though we are running for a reason....... to support and raise funds for the work of Parenting Special Children, a fantastic charity providing specialist parenting proframmes and emotional support and information to families with a diagnosis of a learning difficulty or disability for their child or young person. Over the past six years Parenting Special Children have supported over 500 families and the work they do is invaluable to each parent and child.
