Thank you so much for visiting our Channel Relay Swim fundraising page. In August 2014 we're swimming the English Channel as a relay team- Team Pavelka. Please support us as we train to face the physical and mental challenge of swimming the Channel. We'll encounter the cold, seasickness, jellyfish (Megs favourite) and the worlds busiest shipping lane, as well as all sorts of things that float around! We have all embarked upon our training, which will involve swimming in the sea throughout the winter months- in preparation for our two hour qualifying swim before we are able to tackle the Channel.

Sarah and Beth were contributors on Sky Livings Fat:The Fight of my Life. Paul was Beth's personal trainer on the programme. We all met Jessie through his work on the show. Sarah has brought her friend Fiona on board. Mike swam with Beth in the River Arun as seen on the programme.

Hoop UK is a unique charity that we all passionately support. Jill is a director of the charity, Sarah is one of its ambassadors and Jessie is a patron.

Team Pavelka is named after Pavelka. Jessie Pavelka is a Fitness Expert and Personal Trainer who specialises in working with people who are on their weight loss and fitness journey. He has teamed up with Jill Tipping, Director of charity HOOP (UK), to develop the Pavelka Health Revolution - a range of workshops, seminars and a soon to be launched membership website which guides and supports those who want to lose weight, improve their fitness or live life more healthily. www.pavelka.co.uk
