Tough Guy – Nettle Warrior – 15 July 2012 · 15 July 2012 ·

Since 1980, the Citadel is a safe space in the heart of Leith where children, young people, families, and older generations can come together. We offer something for everyone - a place to grow, make new friends, try new things, and get help when you need it.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team Peaked have been training their arses off to get fit in time for Tough Mudder in July, we've ran in the rain, snow, sun and gone to the gym when we'd have rather been suppin a pint at the pub.

Why? Well, we are a group of generally idle mates that have decided that we "CAN" do this 11 miles of pure pain and punishement.

We've also got James 'hairyarse' Taylor getting his back waxed and Mark 'Sparky' MacKenzie having his chest waxed as part of our fundraising - now, anyone that's seen them without their tops on will understand the magnitude of this!!  who wouldnt pay to see them scream like wee lassies that have fallen and scraped their knees!

So, amazing family, friends and anyone else that cares to - we're asking you to dig deep and sponsor us, where better to donate than a local charity - HOORA!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
