Team Puffin 312 Event Cycle Challenge

SY Red Dragon has four ambitious crew members who will be attempting to complete the 312 Challenge Mallorca this Saturday, 10 October!

Our team of 4 had originally entered the 167km cycle event however with the race being cancelled due to Covid-19, we’ve decided to try take on the full distance of 312km. We are doing this in order to raise funds and awareness for Guide Dogs UK – a cause close to home as James’ stepfather is blind and has had 4 guide dogs himself already.

We are hoping to raise £5000, which will allow us to also name a dog ☺  Should you feel the need to support us, we would greatly appreciate it .

Team Puffin is made up of a group of Super Yacht Crew who work on S/Y Red Dragon.  The yacht and crew are based in the port of Palma Mallorca Spain. When not working they race a Flying 15 but also compete in other classes. Red Dragon takes part in multiple charity events a year and this year the crew of James Waugh, Milan Van Rhyn, Claire Hutchings  and Guinevere Rogers.
