We are fundraising for cancer patients to have something nice to look forward to.

Story

At The Lewis Foundation they source, package and hand deliver gift packs for free to adult cancer patients in hospitals in the Midlands and the community weekly. These are items that patients might find difficult to buy themselves or simply cannot afford – and that brings people happiness and comfort at a difficult time. For many people in hospital and the community, our volunteers are their only regular visitors. TLF currently provide over 2500 gifts per month to 7 hospitals. People can pick a gift of their choice for free from our gift list.

Our target is £250 because I (Audrey) have chosen to personally sponsor this awesome NLive & friends team to enter because a)We want to win obvs; and b) because cancer is pretty s*itty.

My husband Dave was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma back in 2011, and although he finished his final year at uni (against surgeon advice) and came top of class I might add),  he missed all the graduate F1 interviews because of chemo/radio therapy and feeling really pants.

However, through the 10 years from being given the "all clear" in 2012, we've always had a place for fundraising for cancer charities, and we're thrilled to be karting for The Lewis Foundation,...especially fitting as Dave made it to RedBull Racing last year.

I've put in the £250 to field my fantabulous racers, and I'm asking you to donate what you can.

Thank you.
